GEORGE SLOAN is a writer and director who was born and raised in a suburb just north of BOOOORING! Let's jump ahead.
Between 2010 and 2013, George was a writer for the CBS sitcom How I Met Your Mother where he wrote and produced three well-received episodes. His grandmother described those episodes as "not my cup of tea."
In 2014, he returned to his directing roots, working on comedy spots for the financial management company Wealthfront, and for the Doritos "Crash the Super Bowl" campaign, for which his spot "Push!" was honored by being featured in the brand's 10th anniversary highlight reel.
More recently, George has directed commercials for Wendy's, The Home Depot, 3M, Realtor.com, Twitter, NBC, RE/MAX, BuzzFeed, Maltesers, Thrivent and Ronald McDonald House Charities.
In his spare time, George likes to make small talk with the cashiers at Trader Joe's. He also worries frequently about getting anxiety attacks, which his therapist refers to as "secondary anxiety."
